I've been pretty quiet with my photography lately. Between regular life, work, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff that comes with... well, life... photography (although a deep part of my heart) just feels like one more thing I have put on the list.

Sessions like these remind me of the passion I've held for photography.

Ten years ago, I photographed Danelle and Ford's wedding as a second shooter alongside my best friend (shout-out, Anna!)... Since then, I've had the joy of becoming their go-to family photographer, capturing maternity photos and watching their family grow.

This time, we met up at Blue Marsh in Reading, PA. Gorgeous golden light on this early September day. The leaves were just starting to turn, the weather was gorgeous, and that water view was hard to beat!

We ran around, played near the water, threw rocks into the lake, and captured plenty of hugs and laughs along the way. L was nervous about the water, but we quickly got over it when we realized we could throw rocks into the lake.

The view overlooking Blue Marsh was absolutely stunning. A gorgeous way to wrap up this session as the sun went down!

After ten years, it's pretty special to see how much a family can grow and change, and even more special that I get to keep documenting it.
