The G Family | Upland Farm, Chester Springs

I’ve been photographing Zoey and Zion’s family since Zion was little, so watching these kids grow through the years has been such a fun part of what I do!

For this session, we met up at Upland Farm in Chester Springs, PA for their yearly family photos. Fall was showing off with beautiful golden light, leaves just starting to turn, and all those warm orange colors that make me LOVE this time of year.

Of course, getting the kids to slow down long enough for photos is always an adventure! There was plenty of chasing them around, playing, and letting them do their thing while we grabbed those sweet family moments in between.

The combination of the beautiful location, their gorgeous fall outfits, and that evening light made this one such a pretty session. But more than anything, I love the way these photos captured their family just being together (even through the craziness).

After 5+ years of photographing this family, it’s pretty amazing to look back and see how much the kids have grown. Sessions like this are a big part of why I love photography so much - I keep coming back to documenting families like these and watching their growth throughout the year (and making beautiful photos, of course).
