This year has been anything but easy (and I’m sure for most). But like previous years, I look back and reflect on my work, and I’m so, so, so thankful for all of those clients that have trusted me to capture their small events, weddings, family portraits, and more.
The year looked very different in terms of photographing, well, anything.
The first half of the year was essentially non-existent. Soon, the itch to photograph became so strong that virtual iPhone sessions became a hot go-to thing for a little bit!
Weddings were rescheduled or became small ceremonies. For a moment there, I actually missed listening to "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey and getting in the middle of a sweaty dance floor!
Portrait sessions were socially distanced, and I had to learn to be a little more vocal with posing...versus actually touching and posing people (my love language is touch, sorry!).
It was different, but it became important to find the blessings in each "different" photo session.
To the clients who trusted me this year, who worked with me on various last-minute changes, and who were patient... thank you. Thank you for continuing to support me through 2020.
