Justine & Bill have shared their "how we met" story on their site. Since meeting, they've had a handful of adventures, exploring different US cities and different breweries.
For their proposal... Bill had tickets and was set to take her to Hershey. But the pandemic (ugh, I'm sick of that word) had different plans. So what did end up happening, is a walk around their development's pond, which just also happened to be where I was living at the time! Small world! While I didn't capture this proposal... this is where we ended up doing our engagement session!
We originally had a date of May 29th for the wedding. Which is my birthday! I mean, I would've loved to celebrate with cake, but a reschedule was necessary to our cold day in November.
Justine & Bill were troopers day-of. The skies closed up as we were heading out to the venue and the drive over was drenched with the day's rain. It was cold, wet, and I was working to find the best course of action for their portraits indoors. We did a first look with dad and we were ok with working underneath the porch at the venue. Our settings were ready, our lights were good to go inside for our later portraits... but when I tell you the skies opened up as soon as Justine stepped outside.... It was the stuff of movies, I swear.
Justine's smile brightened tenfold. While it was still cold (oh, was it cold), we had natural light to work with, giving us so much depth and beauty.
The rest of the evening went beautifully, with a beautiful ceremony and later with the dance floor moving!
